Back Again (Yet Again)
It's been a busy year, but after 15 years of living the States and going through 3 different visa status, I have finally become a permanent resident as of March 24th.
Here in Central Texas, the weather has been nice for the last week or so (it went up to about 80F today), although I get to enjoy it only a little bit since I spend most of my day indoor with year-around temperature of ~72F. Those wild flowers like bluebonnets are blooming now, and it's a nice site along highways. We had quite a bit of water coming down from up above this winter (if you can call it winter, that is), so the flowers look so much better than the last year. This also means that the air in Austin area has been thick with pollens from a variety of sources (live oak, grass, etc., etc.) to keep our sinuses stuffed. But that's ok. All is good here.

Although a native of much more humid landscape (the philippines) I too hold texas in high esteem. A very pleasant place to live.
Congrats on your residency status. Is full-blown citizenship next?
